Μια γυναίκα, που η μνήμη της την προδίδει, και μία άλλη, που προσπαθεί να θάψει τη δική της, παγιδεύονται σε έναν κόσμο που δεν τους ανήκει. Ένας άντρας, αιχμάλωτος της δικής του σύγκρουσης, ορίζει αυτόν τον κόσμο και αναπαράγει τη βία χωρίς να την αναγνωρίζει.
Ο κύκλος της κακοποίησης φαίνεται ατελείωτος. Στον θάλαμο 11, οι σκιές είναι πιο έντονες από το φως. Η μάνα και η ερωμένη – δύο γυναικεία αρχέτυπα – συνθλίβονται από την τοξική αρρενωπότητα που καθορίζει τη ζωή τους.
